The 1880's house and newer wing have been diligently restored and updated for a pleasant, convenient, up-to-date residence. As you can see, the house is extensive, accommodating up to eight residents in the brick wing, and the House Manager and family live on the second floor. In the foreground are a breezeway, garage, and shed. Solar panels on the upper roof supply much of Tallwood's electricity, and there is a charger for electric cars.
We are always grateful
for donations, gifts and bequests for its ongoing operation including benevolence to residents as needed.
The funds also help us keep the room and board rates modest, and offer some employment benefits to our Christian Science nurses and other workers in the home.
Tallwood House / NHHCS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) religious charitable organization.
